The Youth League under the China Africa Water Association

The Youth League under the China Africa Water Association (forthwith the YLCAWA) is a constituent body of the China Africa Water Association (CAWA).

The objectives of the YLCAWA are as follows:

• To provide a platform for collaboration with young scientists from both China and Africa, particularly to promote the study on hydrology as an aspect of the Earth Sciences and water resources.

• To provide assistances for young scientists from both China and Africa in Water Sciences.

• To provide for discussion, comparison, and publication of research results.

• To initiate, facilitate, and coordinate research into, and investigation of, those hydrological problems which require international cooperation.

All young researchers (under 45 years old) with a working position in university or institutions from all countries around the world are entitled to participate in the work of the YLCAWA, but it is encouraged to have research fields relevant to water issues in China and Africa.

Equality, diversity and inclusion are particularly encouraged.

The YLCAWA performs its activities in the framework of the CAWA, in cooperation with international associations and their specialized agencies and through direct contacts with other international organizations.
