Brief Introduction about main academic achievements and key publications

Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences, Moctar Dembele is a researcher at the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) and honorary research associate at the University of Oxford. With about ten years of professional experience, Moctar has worked for a variety of public and private organizations in research and international development across nine countries in Africa and Europe. His research focus includes water accounting and productivity, hydrological modelling, climate change impact assessment and spatial analysis with satellite remote sensing data. He is currently investigating the hydrological dynamics of West African river basins under environmental changes
