Brief Introduction about main academic achievements and key publications

Dr. Haiyun Shi got his Ph.D. degree at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. He worked previously as a Postdoctoral Fellow/Senior Research Assistant at The University of Hong Kong, and won the Hong Kong Scholars Award in 2014. He was recognized as Overseas High-Caliber Personnel in Shenzhen (Level B) in 2018. He has been the PI/Co-PI of more than 10 research projects. He has published over 20 journal papers as the first author or corresponding author and 3 book chapters. He has obtained 1 provincial-level scientific and technological achievement. He has been invited as the reviewer of over 30 international journals, the Expert Reviewer of the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report (Working Group II), and the Expert Reviewer of the National Natural Science Foundation of China funded projects. He has served as the Guest Editor of 4 international journals and the main convener of 2 sessions of Hydrological Sciences in AOGS (Asia Oceania Geosciences Society) annual meeting.
